Dancing Endeavors

I did ballet and tap dancing when I was little. I stopped when I was little. Whenever I'm extremely happy, I dance/skip around. I did winter guard for one year in high school, but I couldn't stand the drama so I quit. Obviously this is another part of me that I suppressed for outside reasons that don't really matter.

I started dancing again in college- ballroom and modern. I had the most amazing modern teacher for my first class, but my second class my modern dance teacher was a jerk and I stopped taking modern dance classes. I have mostly stuck with ballroom, but I prefer the freedom of different movements in modern dance. I sometimes dream that I could combine both and do the cabaret style dance (the one where they dance together, with lifts, and apart), but it is dangerous and requires specific instruction which I don't have the time at the present moment to take.

I always dance in the way I do my regular movements, so I don't feel the need to delve too deep into it at this moment. I'll just try to apply the techniques I learned my short time in the dance classes. It  is all about expression anyway.
